MTCC in Twenty20 cricket final
LUCKNOW: Mega Trends Cricket Club (MTCC) marched into the final of the 1st Ekmi Devi Memorial twenty20 cricket tournament, defeating Unique Sporting by 45 runs, at the Pt Raas Bihari Tewari stadium here on Wednesday. After scoring 156/6 in stipulated 20 overs while batting first after winning the toss, MTCC got the Unique Sporting out for ‘Nelson Total’ 111 in 18.2 overs.

Uttar Pradesh handball Association on Wednesday felicitated the players of the UP Challengers, which recently won the Women’s Handball Super League at New Delhi. UPHA chief Sudhir M Bobde and secretary Anandeshwar Pandey on this occasion announced that the next edition of the Super League would be staged in the state capital. A sum of Rs 5100 each was given to all 12-member team.
