Four batsmen hit half centuries in u-14 trophy

LUCKNOW : As many as four batsmen struck half centuries as hosts Uttar Pradesh on Friday took 57-run first innings lead against Rajasthan and collect full three points in their central zone under-14 Raj Singh Dungarpur Trophy encounter in Meerut.

Siddarth Chaudhary made 70 in 123 balls with the help of nine fours, Amaan hit 79-ball 56, Ajeet Verma struck 52 in 85 balls and Shivam, Kumar scored 50 in 92 balls with the help of five fours as Uttar Pradesh scored 286/4 in 80.2 overs. Rajasthan had made 229/7 in 98.1 overs on day one on Thursday.

Deepanshu Pal scored a sparkling run-a-ball 69 with the help of eight fours and a six as Aryavart Cricket Academy ‘Red’ defeated NYCC by seven wickets to collect full points in the 1st Vishramum Challenge Cup cricket tournament. In other match of the day, K Sports defeated ASCA by 57 runs. K Sports made 204/7 in 35 overs, and in reply, ASCA could make 147 in 32.4 overs.
