One arrested in youth’s murder

LUCKNOW : The city police, on Tuesday, arrested the main accused in the murder of 27-year-old youth Ankur Saxena here in Keshav Nagar. The accused was identified as Nawaz and a 32 bore pistol used in the crime was also recovered from his possession. Saxena was shot dead after brawl with the accused during a Tilak ceremony party in Madiaon on Sunday night. Inspector of Madiaon police station, Amarnath said the police was carrying out frequent raids for the arrest of the accused since he managed to escape after committing the murder. He said the accused was arrested from Keshav Nagar turn when he had come meet his friend with an intent to get legal help from him. Earlier, the deceased’s uncle Ramesh Saxena had lodged FIR against Nawaz, Suraj and Bajrangi in the matter. The deceased had from Bareilly to attend his friend’s tilak ceremony.
