Miscreants injured in encounter, nabbed
ALLAHABAD: Two criminals were injured in a cross firing with Pratapgarh police on Tuesday. The police nabbed the duo along with their two accomplices and admitted them to Raniganj community health centre. Circle officer, Raniganj, GD Mishra said the police team raided Sarai Jamuni area after receiving information about the presence of the miscreants there. However, they opened fire on the team when asked to surrender. Two of them identified as Ruban and Mukhtar received bullet injuries in their legs and were caught. Their two accomplices were also nabbed after a chase. One of them has six cases of loot and attempt to murder lodged against him.
