LUC­KNOW: The Congress mem­bers staged a walk­out in the state Vid­han Sabha ac­cus­ing the state govern­ment of not giv­ing a cat­e­gor­i­cal re­ply on dis­tri­bu­tion of sweaters, shoes and socks to students of schools run by ba­sic ed­u­ca­tion board. Min­is­ter of state for ba­sic ed­u­ca­tion (in­de­pen­dent charge) Anu­pama Jaiswal though said the state govern­ment had adopted a com­pletely trans­par­ent and cor­rup­tion free sys­tem, Congress Leg­is­la­ture Party leader Ajay Ku­mar Lallu said the state govern­ment was not giv­ing any in­for­ma­tion about those who sup­plied sweaters, shoes and socks to the students. Jaiswal said sweaters were bought through the school man­age­ment by adopt­ing the ten­der­ing process for purch­ses of Rs 1 lakh & more.
