Corruption case against Hapur CMO

ALIGARH: Police have registered a case against CMO (Hapur) Dr AK Singh for allegedly appearing as a witness in a court in Aligarh and getting his false statement recorded after accepting a bribe.

Apart from CMO, advocate Gita Tomar has also been booked under Section 7 and 13 (2) of Corruption Eradication Act on the basis of complaint filed by one Harswaroop, said cops.

Harsawaroop’s daughter was married with Akash, son of advocate Gita Tomar. But after some time, problems cropped up between the husband and wife. Harswaroop lodged an FIR against Akash and his mother Gita Tomar, accusing them of dowry harassment, in Banadevi police station (Aligarh).
