Earth Day celebrations

LUCKNOW: Earth Day was celebrated at GD Goenka Public School on Friday. Various activities were planned to impart knowledge to kids. Classes pre-nursery to grade II did balloon printing of earth and made their individual cards writing their Earth Day promise of keeping our blue planet happy. Videos depicting what causes harm to our planet were shown to the children and emphasizing on how we should avoid doing such things like not throwing waste in rivers, not wasting water and cutting down trees, etc. Children were apprised about the three R’s ‘Reduce,
