Jan 20-21 Dacoits struck at two villages in Kakori on the intervening night. They shot dead a village pradhan’s son, injured nine people, and looted cash and valuables worth Rs 10 lakh from five houses.

Jan 23 Dacoits again struck several houses in Sarava village of Mahilabad. One person was killed in the incident.
