Milkha, Leone likely to take part in Gorakhpur Marathon

GORAKHPUR: A 42-km long Gorakhpur Marathon will be organised to raise awareness on encephalitis and Swachh Bharat Mission in the hometown of chief minister Yogi Adityanath. Many celebrities from film industry and sports, including former international sprinter Milkha Singh, woman wrestler Geeta Phogat, actors Milind Soman and Sunny Leone, are likely to take part in the event to be held on July 29. More than 2000 people are expected to take part in the marathon being organised by a private organisation Indian Spikers. “All preparations have been completed and necessary permission has been taken from administration for the programme,” said organiser Anil Bakshi.
