RESIST BJP’S EFFORTS TO WEAKEN ANDHRA, SAYS CHANDRABABU NAIDU
HYDERABAD: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Friday urged people to resist attempts by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to weaken the state by indulging in collusive politics. Addressing a gathering after ending his day-long hunger strike, ‘Dharma Porata Deeksha’, Naidu said: “Right now, the BJP is busy with Karnataka elections. After that, the party may focus on Andhra Pradesh and create trouble by stopping funds.” The deeksha for special category status and implementation of the provisions of AP Reorganisation Act, coincided with his birthday.
