Old schemes, new names

With reference to Amitabh Kant’s ‘The Aspirational Districts Programme is transformative’ (April 14), how many new programmes will the State devise to change India? All these schemes are old ones with new names. Instead of announcing another one, the State should go in for an independent assessment of usage of funds in the Maoist-hit states and then try and figure out why these have not worked.
