Encourage family meals
and a healthy diet that is a mix of all food-groups — grains, protein, dairy products, fruits, fats and vegetables. Eggs and fish are preferable to red meats, which are fatty and high in bad LDL cholesterol.
Avoid packaged
snacks and sugary colas or juices. These should be an occasional treat.
Ensure at least
an hour of daily physical activity. Limit screen time to two hours a day or less.
