Divine Mission School sealed after FIR, principal arrested
GORAKHPUR: The Divine Mission School at Dudahi in Kushinagar, which had been running without any registration for the last five years, was sealed on Friday following an FIR against its principal and manager KJ Khan.
The police and administrative officials sealed the premises and took away some documents with them.
Dudahi police station SHO Sanjay Kumar Singh said the school was sealed and school principal was arrested. A case under sections 279 (rash driving), 377(causing hurt), 307(attempt to murder) and 120 B was registered against him.
A case was lodged against driver Neyaz Ahmed at Vishnupura police station under sections 304 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder), 337 (causing hurt by act of endangering life) 338 (causing grievous hurt by endangering life) and 120 B (criminal conspiracy).
On Thursday, action was also taken against Kushinagar basic shiksha adhikari and block education

officer for their negligence to let a non-recognised school run. As the school van which met with the accident, killing 13 children, had no number plate, additional regional transport officer and transport department passenger tax officer too were suspended. An inquiry has also been initiated against Seth Banshidhar School administration, which allegedly arranged transfer certificates for children passing out from Divine Mission School. “We had written several times to BSA seeking cancellation of all such schools which were running without registration but he didn’t pay heed to our demand. Had he acted upon our complaint, no such incident would have occurred,” said Ravindra Shukla, BJP divisional president, who also runs his school in Kushinagar district.
