Aadhaar not must for LU’s online admission process

LUCKNOW: Aadhaar card is not compulsory in online application process of University of Lucknow. Inadvertently, there was an oversight in the admission form filling guidelines regarding this and this error has been corrected. No forms would be rejected on basis of not filling of Aadhar number, said Prof NK Pandey, LU spokesperson. VC Prof SP Singh said “Aadhaar is not mandatory at all. We cannot go against Supreme Court guidelines.”
