854 ASST TEACHERS GET APPOINTMENT LETTERS FROM YOGI

-

GORAKHPUR : Chief minister Yogi Adityanth on Tuesday handed over appointment letters to 854 Basic Training Certificate (BTC) and Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) degree holders who will now join as assistant teachers in eight most backward districts of the state.

The move came a few weeks after Union home minister Rajnath Singh met Adityanath in the state capital on April 9 and discussed steps to boost growth in the backwards districts identified by NITI Aayog. These districts include Chitrakoot, Balrampur, Shravasti, Siddharthnagar, Bahraich, Sonbhadra, Chandauli and Fatehpur.

“The Government of India has identified a total of 105 districts as backward. These include eight from UP where these teachers will join. You should strive hard to shape a bright future for the students,” he told the teachers during a programme at DDU Gorakhpur University .
