3 teens feared dead after boat capsizes in Kashmir

SRINAGAR: Three teenagers are feared dead after a boat they were on capsized on the Jhelum river in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday. Police officers and district administration officials confirmed the incident and said that search operations by police and state disaster response force teams are ongoing. Baramulla police officials said five people were in the boat that capsized in Jhelum near Dewan Bagh, Baramulla. “Two of them have been rescued while three others have drowned and are feared dead,” a police officer said.
