LUCKNOW: The counselling for undergraduate programmes in Lucknow university will be held from June 11 to 30. The detailed schedule is available on the university’s website. There has been a 10% increase in seats of all courses except in LLB (Integrated). This year students would be issued enrolment number and university roll number at the time of admission.

This would be printed on their allotment letter. Candidates who are appearing for counselling also have the option to apply for hostel at the time of subject allotment. They would be given a print out of the hostel form which they can submit at the counter set up within the counselling centre. Hostel allotment would be done later.

GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR COUNSELLING

Candidates are advised to go through the counselling procedure and follow the guidelines.

Only candidates whose names are in the list will be allowed to enter the university campus on the day of counselling.

The university has adopted an on campus online counselling comprising sequential steps: reporting; document verification; high school and intermediate marks; category certificate; income certificate (if applicable); zero fee verification (for SC and ST candidates only); subject allotment; fee submission; biometric and issue of allotment letter .

Candidates will be required to report for counselling at the designated time date and time only. The reporting counter would open for only 30 minutes from the time the rank has been called to the counselling premises.

Candidates reporting late for any reason will not be considered for counselling during that session. However, they will be considered in the subsequent session if seats are available.

Since seats would be allotted on the basis of rank of candidates who have reported for counselling within the stipulated time, candidates reporting late will have no claim if seats of higher choice are filled up.
