In the incident, Anil’s father Ram Chandra and his cousin brother Abhay were also injured when they turned up to rescue him, he added. Grover said the attackers fled the spot leaving the victims profusely bleeding. Some other villagers came to their help and took them to hospital. He said the victims were undergoing treatment while police were carrying out raids in search of the attackers after registering an FIR in the matter. He said the case had been registered against the two brothers and their unidentified aides.
