Minor girl raped in Jaunpur hotel

VARANASI: A minor girl was allegedly raped by a youth in an hotel of Jaunpur, police said, adding that the youth along with his three accomplices kidnapped the girl when she was on way to school from a village in Khetasarai police station area of Jaunpur district on Friday evening, police said.

Police said that kin said that girl informed them that she was kidnapped by four youths in Bolero from an isolated location on way to her school. They reportedly took her to an hotel in Jaunpur where she was allegedly raped. They reportedly dropped the girl outside the village at an isolated location on Friday evening.

Police said that the kin said that the girl reached home and informed them about the series of the incident.A police officer said that a case has been registered against a youth under section 363 and 376 and 120 B against three others of IPC following a complaint by the kin of the girl.

Further investigation is on. Singh said that a case was registered against the trio under relevant sections of IPC and further investigation is on.
