CM offers prayers at Gorakhnath temple
GORAKHPUR: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath, who is also the chief priest of the Gorakhnath temple, offered prayers on the second day of the Navratri here on Thursday.
He offered prayers to Maa Brahamcharini between 4am and 5.30 am.
Devotees came to the temple in large numbers.

A group of 75 Batuks (male students) clad in traditional attire also took part in the prayers and read out hymns from the Vedas.
On a nine-day fast, the CM also discussed official work with OSD Ballu Singh and special secretary Amit Singh, who are also camping at the temple.
Following the 25-year-old tradition, he remained on the second floor of the mutt, where VIPs and close aides were allowed to meet him after 9am.
A delegation of BTC trainees met the CM at Gorakhnath temple.
The chief minister assured them that the exam that was cancelled on October 8 will be held soon.
On Wednesday, the police used water to disperse a mob of BTC trainees protesting against the cancellation of the exam.
