MODI, AMIT SHAH TO LAUNCH RAJASTHAN CAMPAIGN ON NOV 23
JAIPUR: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party president Amit Shah will launch their election campaign in Rajasthan on November 23 to shore up support for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in the face of perceived anti-incumbency. Modi will hold 10 public meetings, covering all seven divisions of the state by December 4. Modi’s first public rally will be in Alwar on November 23. The BJP had lost the Alwar Lok Sabha bypoll in February this year and the party is seen to be weak in the constituency. The PM will address two rallies on November 26, one in Jaipur and one in Bhilwara. He will then address meetings in Nagaur and Kota on November 27. On November 28, Modi’s public meetings will be in Beneshwar Dham in Dungarpur district and in Dausa. He will end his campaign with three rallies -- in Hanumangarh, Sikar and Dholpur — on December 4.
