LUCKNOW: Encouraged by the tough stand taken by the Supreme Court in the case of Amrapali Developers, aggrieved Ansal API Sushant Golf City homebuyers are also planning to knock on the doors of the apex court.

"After exploring all the options, we have finally decided to move a public interest litigation before the SC," said a member of the association formed by Ansal API homebuyers. Already more than 400 home-buyers have filed a complaint against the developers with Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority following which the latter has ordered a forensic audit of 91 projects in Sushant Golf City.

Though the real estate watchdog has given two months time to the auditor to submit its report, home-buyers are not willing to take chances as they fear that the developer may wind up the project and flee before that.

Officials at Ansal API did not respond to text messages and calls made to their officials to get their version on the issue.
