UP Board to provide coded answer sheets in all districts
PRAYAGRAJ : The UP Board will provide coded answer sheets in all 75 districts of UP to ensure that the 2019 High School and Intermediate examinations remain copying-free. According to UP Board secretary Neena Srivastava, after the success against unscrupulous elements in 2017-18 examinations, when coded answer sheets were provided in 50 districts, in the 2019 examinations, coded answer sheets will be provided in all the districts.

According to UP Board secretary Neena Srivastava, after the success against unscrupulous elements in 2017-18 examinations, when coded answer sheets were provided in 50 districts of state, in the 2019 examinations, coded answer sheets will be provided in all the districts of UP.
The success of anti-copying measures in the 2018 UP Board examinations can be assessed by the fact that never before 11,27,815 examinees had quit the exams midway.
The Board had implemented several measures for the first time to check the use of unfair means in its examinations, which included roping in the Special task Force, installation of CCTV cameras in every classroom of over 8,000 examination centres, increasing the number of sensitive districts to 50 where coded answer sheets were provided to examinees, etc.
According to the records of the Board, 57,87,998 students are registered for both the examinations scheduled to commence from February 7, 2019. Of these, 32,03,041 students are registered to appear in the High School Exam and 25,84,957 students in the Intermediate exam.
