Tillerson attacks Trump, says he is indisciplined
WASHINGTON: Rex Tillerson, the former US secretary of state, has said that his former boss, President Donald Trump, is “undisciplined” and “doesn’t read briefing reports”.
“What was challenging for me coming from the disciplined, highly process-oriented Exxon Mobil corporation,” Tillerson said at an event in Houston, Texas on Thursday, was “to go to work for a man who is pretty undisciplined, doesn’t like to read, doesn’t read briefing reports, doesn’t like to get into the details of a lot of things, but rather just says, ‘This is what I believe’. ”
According to a Houston Chronicle report, Tillerson said, “Trump acts on his instincts. In some respects, that looks like impulsiveness... But it’s not his intent to act on impulse. I think he is really trying to act on his instincts.”
