Air Marshal Rajesh Kumar takes charge as AOC-in-C
PRAYAGRAJ: Air Marshal Rajesh Kumar took over as Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Central Air Command (CAC) of IAF on Tuesday. In his address, Kumar outlined his vision for the CAC and complemented the officers for their professionalism. Kumar, a Vayu Sena Medal (Gallantry) awardee, is a product of Mayo College, Ajmer and an alumnus of National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla. He was commissioned in the flying branch of Indian Air Force as a fighter pilot in June 1982. He is category ‘A’ qualified flying instructor, instrument rating instructor and an air crew examiner. In addition to various staff appointments at Air Headquarters, he had also commanded a frontline fighter squadron and a fighter base.
