2-day VHP meet from today
PRAYAGRAJ : The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) will hold a twoday meet of over 1,400 district and rural office-bearers from 28 districts of East UP, at the Kumbh Mela, from February 7.
The aim of the meet is to ask Parishad activists and officebearers to create awareness amongst masses about the decision taken at Dharam Sansad regarding the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, which would be constructed after the ruling of Supreme Court in the Ram Janambhumi case comes, as well as the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls.
The meet to be organised in the Vishwa Hindu Parishad camp, will witness discussions over organising of ‘Ram Mahotsav’ countrywide at village as well as in urban areas.
According to VHP’s Eastern UP zonal secretary Ambreesh Singh, office-bearers of 84 zila samitis besides 1,000 ‘prakhand mantris’ will participate in the two-day meet at the Kumbh Mela.
“The Parishad has decided to organise Ram Mahotsav in the month of April in every village of the country as well as urban areas. In the Mahotsav, preparation for temple construction will also be held. During the Ram Mahotsav, membership drive of the Parisad will also be conducted,” he said.
Parishad activists also took out a ‘Sankalp Yatra’ in Kumbh Mela Area.
