SA women defeat Lanka, wrap up series 3-0

CENTURION: South Africa women’s team defeated Sri Lanka by 39 runs in the third T20I in Centurion to wrap up the threematch series 3-0. Put into bat, South Africa scored 163/5, thanks to handsome contributions from captain Dane van Niekerk (38), Tazmin Brits (36), Lara Goodall (35) and Sune Luus (26). Sri Lanka opener Chamari Atapattu scored a 36-ball 43 but the visitors lost their way in the chase, finishing at 124/8 in 20 overs.
