Gains for some, pains for others
LUCKNOW: The Yogi Adityanath government may have made large allocations for infrastructure development and other sectors.
Allocations for some of the departments have, however, come down considerably even as some important departments have failed to catch attention.
Allocation to general administration department have come down from ₹463.80 crore to ₹245.46 crore.
The institutional finance department has got only ₹14.02 crore against Rs 718.09 crore allocated in the last financial year. Uttar Pradesh Estate department’s allocation has also been cut from ₹391.86 crore to ₹356.46 crore.
A sum of ₹1636 crore earmarked for housing is only a marginal 0.63 percent increase against allocation of Rs 1626.22 crore given to it in previous year.
THE INSTITUTIONAL FINANCE DEPARTMENT HAS GOT ONLY ₹14.02 CRORE AGAINST RS 718.09 CRORE ALLOCATED IN THE LAST FINANCIAL YEAR.
