Gains for some, pains for others

LUCKNOW: The Yogi Adityanath government may have made large allocation­s for infrastruc­ture developmen­t and other sectors.

Allocation­s for some of the department­s have, however, come down considerab­ly even as some important department­s have failed to catch attention.

Allocation to general administra­tion department have come down from ₹463.80 crore to ₹245.46 crore.

The institutio­nal finance department has got only ₹14.02 crore against Rs 718.09 crore allocated in the last financial year. Uttar Pradesh Estate department’s allocation has also been cut from ₹391.86 crore to ₹356.46 crore.

A sum of ₹1636 crore earmarked for housing is only a marginal 0.63 percent increase against allocation of Rs 1626.22 crore given to it in previous year.

THE INSTITUTIO­NAL FINANCE DEPARTMENT HAS GOT ONLY ₹14.02 CRORE AGAINST RS 718.09 CRORE ALLOCATED IN THE LAST FINANCIAL YEAR.
