The trader had hanged himself from the ceiling at his C-Block Indira Nagar residence on Monday afternoon.

“A hand-written note in English by Anadhi was found on Thursday while cleaning the house,” said his elder brother Akhilesh Tripathi, a private tutor. He said Anadhi had mentioned the names of two people Nirmal Kumar Jagtiani and Karan Suraj Singh alleging them of making his life miserable. He said the deceased had mentioned that the two persons had taken signed blank cheques and were now demanding interest rate up to 10 to 25 percent per month on the amount borrowed from them.

He said the deceased mentioned that he was under acute mental pressure to take the grave step as the money lenders had made his life miserable for the last one year. He said he would hand over the suicide note to police so that it could be included into the investigation.

Anadhi’s wife Anita Tripathi had earlier lodged an FIR under IPC section 306 for abetment of suicide against Jagitani, his wife Alka, Singh and his other aides with Ghazipur police station.

Those associated with the money lenders however refuted the allegations stating that the deceased had borrowed the money from them for investment in business purpose and was not returning it for past many years. They said the calls made to the deceased were to demand the borrowed money back and they had documents to prove their claims.

Earlier, Anadhi hanged himself from a hook in the ceiling using electric wires in the room on the first floor of the house when his wife, 16-year-old son and other family members were sleeping on the ground floor on Monday afternoon.
