Oppn questions govt on faculty reservation issue

NEW DELHI: Opposition parties on Thursday raised the issue of faculty reservation in universities in the Rajya Sabha. The Upper House saw its first adjournment in the morning when the House met as opposition parties including Samajwadi Party (SP) and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) raised the matter. ”We are fully committed towards reservation. We will ensure they are not affected,” HRD minister Prakash Javadekar asserted.
