Javadekar: Surprised by deluge of transfer request

NEW DELHI: HRD minister Prakash Javadekar on Thursday expressed surprise at the number of requests and recommendations he received related to transfers of Kendriya Vidyalaya teachers. “I have never given a legal notice to anyone at the political influence that is attempted. Sometime I wonder at the number of letters I receive. I am the minister for education. But nobody asks me about policy. They are all related to transfers,” Javadekar said. The minister said the transfers were decided according to a formula.
