Seven fresh swine flu cases in city

LUCKNOW : With 7 fresh cases of swine flu reported in 24 hours, the total number of patients in the state capital has reached 59. Also, the number of patients from other districts being treated in Lucknow has reached 22, according to the data from the office of the chief medical officer of Lucknow.

Doctors said that with temperature likely to rise in the coming week, the cases might go down but till then people needed to take precaution. They should avoid crowded places and shaking hands so that infection did not pass from one person to another, said Dr Sandeep Kapoor, director, Healthcity hospital.

If one was an identified patient of swine flu, he or she should be kept in isolation.
