HOW HOOCH IS PREPARED

Most hooch manufacturers mix chemicals and urea in country made liquor. The brew is prepared by boiling mahua for long hours. Later, chemicals like methyl alcohol, oxytocin injection and alprazolam tablets are used. Mixing of chemicals in the drink gives a greater kick to people consuming it. Apparently not aware of the side effects, brewers increase the chemical content in the drink to attract customers and this, in turn, leads to such tragedies when the chemical composition goes wrong.
