Gorakhpur to host its first int’l hockey match today

GORAKHPUR: Gorakhpur will host its first international hockey match on Sunday when the junior Indian women’s side takes on the French women’s team in the second match of a four-test series here. India lost the first match in Lucknow on Friday. The match will be played on astro turf at Veer Bahadur Singh Sport stadium in the presence of chief minister Yogi Adityanath.
