PRAYAGRAJ : Kinnar Akhada, a monastic order of transgender seers, also participated in the third and last ‘shahi snan’ procession of Kumbh on Sunday. The transgender seers once again attracted devotees during their procession led by Acharaya Mahamandaleshwar Laxmi Narayan Tripathi. The seers took a holy dip in Sangam and prayed for the well-being of people, peace and prosperity across the world. However, Acharaya Tripathi expressed deep concern over the ‘security breach’ during the procession. “It was the duty of the police to ensure that no one entered the procession. But this happened in our procession. Many pilgrims came near the rath, while entering the procession when it was heading towards Sangam from the pontoon bridge. This is a serious matter,” said Acharaya Tripathi.
