A flop show, says BJP

-

LUCKNOW : The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Uttar Pradesh launched a scathing attack on the roadshow by Congress chief Rahul Gandhi and his party general secretaries Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Jyotiraditya Scindia. “They’re calling this a roadshow but the BJP sees this as ‘chor machaye shor’. The Gandhi-Vadra family is out on bail. They can’t hold roadshow but a ‘Chor show’. People of UP, especially Lucknow, will come to see the corrupt faces of those who looted Rs 12 Lakh crore of this nation,” said UP minister Siddharth Nath Singh, who later also described the roadshow as a ‘flop’. Mohsin Raza, the Uttar Pradesh government’s lone Muslim face, also targeted the Congress leaders. “Irrespective of what happens to the Congress, one thing is clear. The roadshow is another proof of the failure of the Congress chief Rahul Gandhi and his inability to lead the party,” said Raza.
