New option for Lucknowite­s to beat traffic woes

LUCKNOW: Commuting through the city in late morning and evening hours is not less than conquering a battlegrou­nd. To make the ride less time consuming and congestion free, Bengalurub­ased firm, Rapido Bike, has officially launched its operations in Lucknow. They launched operations with a road safety bike rally in associatio­n with the RTO.

According to city head for Rapido, Sachin, base fare for the service is ₹15 and then the customer is charged ₹3/km. The organisati­on claims the fare to be cheapest than other such service providers. He said, “The concept is based on providing economical, convenient and high-quality transport facilities for solo commuters, especially, those who need to travel far or have to get somewhere quickly.” Sachin said Rapido also created employment opportunit­ies and currently, several Rapido Bikers earn up to Rs 20,000 a month. One can easily download the Rapido mobile app, register their details and is all set to book.
