Girl dies, family creates ruckus

-

LUCKNOW: Family members of a six-year-old girl, Nancy, who died of high fever allegedly after vaccination by a team of CHC (Malihabad) in her school, created ruckus outside Trauma Centre accusing the CHC staff of negligence.

“Nancy was vaccinated in school on November 29. She had fever immediately after that and did not recover. The CHC team came to my house when her condition became serious. They promised me an Ayushman card for free treatment in government hospital,” said Raju, the girl’s father.

KGMU doctors said Nancy was suffering from tuberculosis meningitis and they operated upon her to save her, but she died.
