Examination stress is the very common among students who tend to be vulnerable to it across the world. This is caused due to fear of underperformance. Sometimes the pressure of excelling gives birth to worries, which if not taken care of in time, end up making students stressed and creating havoc in their lives. This is sad, especially since exam stress is most common among young school goers.

Psychologists across nations believe that examination stress to some extent is pretty desirable. This is because they usually work as a catalyst which helps students stay focused on their studies and achieve their goal.

This means that a permissible level of stress functions as magic for focus and concentration. However, stress beyond this permissible limit must be stopped and treated with care and caution, and well in time. Otherwise, it may have fatal repercussions adversely affecting the mental and physical health of students.

As the Principal of a school, here’s a bit of advice for students: Chalk out a plan to study, and set realistic goals on the basis of your own assessment. Sticking to what you have planned and evaluating your performance at regular intervals may prevent you from feelings stressed. Also, set aside some time regularly for meditation to bring peace to the mind and to comfort the body.
