PUBLIC MANIFESTO

‘THERE SHOULD BE A GREEN BELT ALONG HIGHWAYS’

- Prashant Verma, educationist

The infrastructure of the country should improve. Road and highway construction work carried out in the last four years should continue further at the same pace under the new government. But, this should not happen at the cost of trees. India needs more greenery to counter the toxicity spewed by crores of vehicles on the roads every day. All the upcoming highways should have a green belt on either side.

The government should also improve the quality of education imparted in government primary schools so that there is competition between public and private schools. This may also effectively decrease the cost of education as reliance on private schools would decrease.

There are over 10 lakh government primary schools in India, which have seen a fall in enrolment (over 1 crore students) in the last several years.
