‘THEY HAVE GATHBANDHAN, WE HAVE MULAYAM’

GORAKHPUR: Taking a dig at the opposition over SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav’s statement that he would like to see Modi as PM again, minister of state for finance Shiv Pratap Shukla said on Thursday,

“The BJP and Mulayam differ ideologically but he said in Parliament that he would like to see Modi as PM again. So, the opposition parties have gathbandan (alliance) but we have Mulayam.”

The minister was speaking on the sidelines of a programme organised by leading Hindi daily, Hindustan, in which the daughters of newspaper hawkers were offered financial assistance under its campaign Hindustan Kanya Vidyadhan.
