IG inaugurates crèche at Police Lines

KANPUR : IG, Kanpur zone, Alok Singh on Thursday inaugurated a crèche at the Police Lines to assist its women staff. The crèche was jointly set up by the police department and social organisation ‘Fikki Flow’. The IG spent some time playing with the children at the crèche. “The aim was to help women police employees who remained worried about their children living alone in homes while they were on duty, he said.
