ARTISTIC TRIBUTE TO SLAIN JAWANS

PRAYAGRAJ : Under spiritual guru Ashutosh Maharaj, youth welfare wing of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan, SAM (self assessment and management) dedicated final edition of its series of youth empowering events of ‘Yuva Kumbh’ at their camp to CRPF jawans who were killed in Pulwama attack on February 14. The event acknowledg­ed that even at Kumbh Mela, Indian armed forces played a crucial role in ensuring security of lakhs of devotees coming from across the world.

Paying tribute to the soldiers, SAM reiterated that they were with their families. Through a set of performanc­es dedicated to the slain soldiers, SAM aimed to inspire its young audience to contribute towards nation building.

The evening saw a ballet by the SAM team on the valour and sacrifice of brave soldiers followed by a soul-stirring band performanc­e dedicated to the martyrs and armed forces by SAM’s in-house Rock BandEterna­l Bliss.

An insightful talk on ‘Youth for Nation Building’ and an engaging experience sharing session by the veteran Bollywood actor and theatre personalit­y Akhilendra Mishra were also part of the event. Senior officials from the Indian army, NDRF, RAF, CRPF and CISF were also present on the occasion.
