Countdown has begun for those involved in terror attack: CM

GORAKHPUR : Assuring the kin of a CRPF jawan, who was among the 40 personnel killed in the terror attack in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, chief minister Yogi Adityanath said the countdown for those involved in the dastardly act had begun.

“Whosoever are the culprits and wherever they are, we will find them and ensure that they get condign punishment. Those instigatin­g and encouragin­g terrorism will not be spared,” the CM said after meeting the bereaved family of slain 32-yearold CRPF jawan Pankaj Tripathi in Maharajgan­j on Sunday.

Yogi reached Tripathi’s residence at 4:30 pm and spent 45 minutes there.

The chief minister further said the government was trying its best for the next of the kin of the slain CRPF jawans.

The state has government has already announced Rs 25 lakh ex gratia each for the families of 12 jawans from Uttar Pradesh who were among those killed in the Tuesday’s terror attack. In addition to it, the government will also provide job to one member each from the families of the slain jawans.
