Condolence­s, aid pour in for kin of jawans

LUCKNOW: Condolence­s and financial support continued to pour in for the families of the CRPF jawans killed in the Pulwama terror attack in J&K last week.

The Bharatiya Jansewa Kalyan Samiti (Rajendra Nagar) and Samajik Beopar Mandal (Lucknow) on Tuesday held a condolence meeting for the 44 CRPF personnel killed in Pulwama. Imran Khan ‘Bharatiya’, convenor of the meeting, said people were in solidarity with the slain soldiers and extending full support to the bereaved families.

He said the government should give a befitting reply to the terrorists.

AID FOR BEREAVED FAMILIES

The Mata Amritanand­amayi Math will be donating ₹5 lakh each to the families of more than 40 CRPF troopers who were killed in the terror attack.

“It is our dharma to support the families of these men who died while following their dharma of protecting the nation. My heart goes out to their families and loved ones. May we all pray for their peace and well being,” said Mata Amritanand­amayi Devi.

PRAYERS FOR JAWANS

Students of SKD Academy held special prayers for the CRPF jawans killed in the terrorist attack. They expressed solidarity with the families of the jawans who lost their lives in the Pulwama attack. Director Manish Singh said the entire fraternity of SKD Academy was deeply pained and anguished to see how a terrorist killed such large number of jawans.
