3-day IT expo begins

LUCKNOW: The Luck now Management Association (LMA) has organised a three-day IT expo in the state capital in collaboration with NA SS COM and Buzz hype rs. The event ‘DECODEx IT Expo’ was inaugurated on Friday in Go mt iN agar and it will continue till March 3.

“This event could also be called as a recruitment drive for the IT students and independent in ventors as there are nine IT companies which area part of this event,” said Sudhir Verma, managing director of Buzzhypers.

“It aims to create awareness about the opportunities that prevail sin IT sector in Luck now and prevent brain drain. Eventually, this will help in the development of the state and IT industries and professionals,” added Verma.

“Information technology has great impact on all the aspects which are connected with human being sand it has major impact on business at the grass root level,” said chief guest LK Mashweri, former V Co fBI TSP ila ni. He also coined an idea of developing a “Lucknow Local Taxi” app as a mode of transportation for the locals in Lucknow.

Apart from professionals, the event also attracted IT students from various institutions of the city. The queries of the aspiring IT students and IT solutions seekers were also answered in the discussion section of the event.

“The pass out students are not job ready and lack coding skills which every IT industry demands. Through this three-day long event we look forward to identify the gap and work continuously to solve this ,” said R amish Zaidi, CEO of Votex Solutions, Lucknow and founding co-chairperson at NASSCOM. A coding competition‘ Hack at hon’ has also been planned for IT students.
