TRIBUTE TO GANDHI
Officials and employees of the Rolling Stock Workshop, Charbagh, during a function organised to mark 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on Thursday. They observed the day as Swachhata Diwas and took a pledge to keep their surroundings clean. A cultural programme, followed by street plays, debate, poem competitions and scrap art contest were held on the occasion. The officers also offered ‘shramdaan’ and cleaned the workshop premises. Vivek Khare, chief workshop manager, delivered a speech on the cleanliness mission and felicitated the participants.
