MAN HELD FOR DUPING PEOPLE

MATHURA : The police on Wednesday arrested a man for allegedly duping people on the pretext of providing them bookings for ‘VIP darshan’ and rooms at Sri Krishna Janmbhoomi temple in Mathura. The accused, Neeraj Sharma, was nabbed with the joint efforts of the cyber cell and Govind Nagar police of Mathura. He used to charge Rs 550 for arranging ‘VIP darshan’ on priority and Rs 1,250 for booking VIP rooms in the temple, said police. The arrest came after a complaint by one Lalit Prajapati.
