STUDY HALL FETES CLASS 10, 12 STUDENTS
LUCKNOW: The Study Hall School organised its convocation ceremony on Saturday. A unit of Study Hall Educational Foundation, the school felicitated the students who successfully cleared their Class 10 and 12 CBSE board examination. Sudhanshu Mani, retired general manager of Integral Coach Factory, was the chief guest.
The ceremony started with academic procession of teachers and students. Principal Shalini Sinha welcomed the gathering. She said, “Convocation is another milestone in the lives of children and also the time they start take charge of their lives and future.”
Study Hall Educational Foundation’s founder Urvashi Sahni congratulated the students and the parents. She told the students, “It’s an important landmark in your lives and I hope you take the lessons of equality, fraternity, freedom, love and care with you and share with others.”
The function included a song performance by class 9 students and those who completed Class 10 and 12 were awarded. A dance was presented by Class 12 students and the meritorious students were asked to share their experiences.
Nidhi Kannaujia, currently studying in Miranda House, Delhi said, “This school has given wings to my dreams. I would like to thank all my teachers for supporting me, guiding me and always encouraging me.”
The ceremony ended with a vote of thanks from vice principal Meenakshi Bahadur.
