DM issues protocol for markets, malls and showrooms
LUCKNOW: The district magistrate sounded an alert and issued protocols for markets, showrooms, malls and other establishments, including hotels and restaurants. Besides, the administration has also ordered hourly cleaning of public contact areas to check the coronavirus outbreak.
District magistrate Abhishek Prakash said all the malls, showrooms, markets and other establishment would follow the protocol and contribute in keeping a check on the outbreak of the deadly virus.
“We have directed the officials of malls and their parking area to carry out complete sanitising and also to sanitise the furniture and other public contact areas to check the contamination,” he said.
He also ordered the authorities to ensure removal of curtains and to carry out hourly cleaning and sanitising of the public contact areas on their premises.
“We have also directed the restaurants and hotels to provide adequate quantity of handwash and sanitizers to the visitors,” he added.
The district administration has divided the entire city into eight protective zone to check the outbreak of coronavirus.
The DM also directed the health department to make thermal scanners and infrared thermometer available at all community health centres and to shortlist one hospital in each zone in which the suspect with coronavirus infection could be referred.
The administration has also established a control room—0522-2622080 and 7839700132 as a part of the measures to check the disease.
The administration has also shortlisted six hospitals, including Lok Bandhu Raj Narayan hospital, Dr Shyama Prasad Hospital, Balrampur hospital, KGMU, Dr Ram Manohar Lohiya Hospital and SGPGI for the treatment of patients with suspected corona virus infection.
